Actors biography:

Born in Dunblane, but now based in Edinburgh, Jed is a first-class graduate of the BA (Hons) Acting & English course at Edinburgh Napier University 2025. After starting out in both Borders Youth Theatre and then moving to Royal Lyceum Youth Theatre, Jed has gone on to star in several projects across screen and stage.

Most recently, Jed has starred as Harris in ‘Tartan Tat’, the 5-star Edinburgh Fringe sellout and subsequent tour; the lead role of Ethan in ‘Worms’, the upcoming festival short film from Seasick Productions; and Callum in ‘Holly Street’ at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Jed also has several other short film releases on the horizon, with ‘What Remains’, ‘Kinnow’, and ‘Sons of Cain’ all scheduled for festival release.

Jed is a huge car and Formula 1 nerd, having previously written for an American automotive magazine while at university, and been in and around cars and racing from a young age. He’s also a huge Manchester City fan, and enjoyed playing a lot of youth level football growing up as a goalkeeper.
