This dark and thrilling comedy centers on a father of two daughters who has already murdered his first wife and tragically lost his 15-year-old daughter in a bizarre drowning accident. In an attempt to help his 11-year-old daughter cope with the loss, he kidnaps another girl to take her sister’s place. However, when he accidentally kills his younger daughter, his grip on reality slips further, leading him to try replacing both children with his second wife, who is Russian, and planning to escape with the other parents in pursuit, desperate to recover their kidnapped daughter.
