Lewis McLauchlin & Cameron Millar star in EdFringe Play Hope Street

Delighted to announce #teamvs Lewis McLauchlin and Cameron Millar star in this Edinburgh Fringe in Holly Street.

Lewis McLauchlan stars as Ross in the debut EdFringe show ‘Holly Street’. A play set in the midst of a writer’s room during the creation of a beloved soap opera’s 35th anniversary, Ross is the heart of the writing team, constantly fuelled with ideas and inspirations, he loves his work and isn’t afraid to show it. When the writing team gets given a magical whiteboard that seems to spring their ideas to life, Ross has to face the reality of his imagination and learn how to truly work together to solve the teams crisis. Written by Lewis McLauchlan, ‘Holly Street’ is a comedy play that never takes itself too seriously, despite the grand challenges they’ve set for themselves.

Cameron Millar stars as Reece, he is the resident book keeper of Holly Street and is in charge of maintaining the soap’s “bible” in which all the shows previous events are recorded. Reece is the sensible one or the “fun sponge”. He dreams that one day the team will have a normal meeting in which, they don’t cause a public outcry or even worse a continuity error. He does, deep down, love his job although he doesn’t always tell his face.
