More recently, she featured in the debut performance of ‘Play Pretend’ at The Traverse Theatre and will be soon to feature in ‘The Rejects’ which will be performed at The Heart of Hawick and Dunns Playfest.

Aside from that Clare is the director for The Napier Musical Theatre Society and is also Set/Costume Co-ordinator and a proud member/founder of Reverb Theatre.

Clare has came from a musical theatre background by starting off working with companies such as LYAMC and MGA before leaving for university. She has played multiple musical roles such as Paulette in ‘Legally Blonde’ and Natalie in ‘All Shook Up’ and has spent a year at MGAs Fierce Theatre School where she had lessons in dance, singing and acting.

Some main goals for Clare is to refresh her skills in singing and music. While also breaking into the Scottish Theatre scene, more specifically, gig theatre as Clare plays guitar, ukulele and sings.

Quirky comedic characters is definitely something Clare thrives in yet she also finds herself playing dominant, strong female roles too. A main interest for Clare is Children’s Theatre and Puppetry which she would love to introduce herself to.
