Actors biography:

Emily Pick is proud to be an AAPI Actor, born and raised in Hawaii, and now living and working in the UK. She’s known for playing, Vera, in the Feature Film, The Paradise Murders for LMN. She’s also appeared on camera with Ice-T in a National Commercial Spot, and on many Musical Theatre and Production Show stages.

Emily holds a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University. Some of her favourite roles at Uni were, Anne, in, A Little Night Music, and, Amelia, in, The House of Bernarda Alba.

After graduating from Fine Arts Conservatory she spent several years in Los Angeles doing what almost every 21 year old girl in LA does (waiting tables, answering phones, and auditioning). She enjoyed working with Director, Paris Barclay, on an abc pilot that featured Asian American actors.

Her next professional adventure was on board a Princess Cruise Ship as the Headliner Female Singer/Dancer. It was a job she liked so much that she did it again for Holland America Cruises.  Emily returned to the islands to take a contract with Honolulu Theater for Youth, Hawaii’s only repertory theatre company.

While there, she met her now husband, and began a family. She rebranded herself as a voice actor in order to be lead parent to their two children, and right off the bat landed a recurring character with a distance learning company.

Some years later, with children more grown, Emily has been having a blast navigating out of the VO booth and back in front of the camera. Her first love has always been storytelling, but when she isn’t acting, she loves teaching and practicing yoga, training with her daughter at the Taekwondo Dojang, and reading and writing beautiful stories.

On the mic, on camera, or on a stage, Emily is a passionate storyteller who brings the Aloha Spirit to every project and collaboration.
