Actors biography:

Ewan Jardine is a Scottish actor based in Edinburgh and a recent graduate of Napier University’s acting programme. With a passion for character-driven storytelling, he brings curiosity, focus, and quiet intensity to every role. Whether on stage or screen, Ewan enjoys exploring complex personalities and layered relationships—drawn to the kind of parts that ask questions rather than give easy answers.

Since graduating, he’s been steadily building his portfolio in film, television, theatre, and voice work. He thrives in collaborative environments and is always looking to push himself creatively, whether that’s through subtle, grounded performances or diving into something a little more offbeat.

Beyond acting, Ewan is also a keen writer and often works on personal scripts and story ideas. He enjoys shaping characters on the page just as much as embodying them on set. He is currently working on two collaborative projects. His company Scotch Bonnet Productions will be putting on their first Edinburgh Fringe show this year, a Scottish folktale murder mystery, “Death on the Clyde”. Ewan has co-written and produced this, and will also be performing. He is looking forward to seeing how the director will bring their own influence to the play!

When he’s not immersed in performance or writing, you’ll likely find him out surfing (Scottish waves permitting), tinkering with his car, or brushing up on his German. He’s a fan of hikes and drives with a Red Eye coffee or a coconut milk hot chocolate in hand, and his creative moods are often soundtracked by Fabrizio Paterlini, Dire Straits, Third Eye Blind or the Shrek 2 OST. His go-to films include Sunset Boulevard, It Happened One Night, The Other Guys and Terminator 2.
