Actors biography:

Fabiana is an artist and actress with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Art Practice from Robert Gordon University, Gray’s School of Art. She was born in Venezuela but grew up—and is currently based—in Edinburgh, Scotland. She also has bases to work in Glasgow, London, Manchester, and York. Fabiana has always been drawn to the creative arts. When she was a child, she excelled in creative activities; whether it be drawing, painting, dancing, or acting out imaginative stories and plays. It was not until she watched High School Musical on the Disney Channel and acted in her primary school’s production of The Sound of Music, she fell completely enamoured with the possibility of pursuing acting and dancing as a professional career.

Fabiana officially began her professional acting journey by taking classes at Edinburgh Acting School from 2021-2023, and is building a portfolio of work through various acting projects. She works mostly on screen, and would like to do more theatre productions in the future. Whilst continuing to create artwork, Fabiana is currently working on several shorts films whilst completing various acting courses.

In October 2023, Fabiana participated in the Edinburgh Horror Festival where she performed an immersive sold out show titled Survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse. Fabiana has also performed in a small theatre production where she played multiple roles such as Olivia in The Twisted Hearts; Mada in Dead Ringers; Angela in The New Act; The Actress in Page to Stage.

Fabiana has found that acting has become an outlet for her to become someone else. She is able to immerse herself completely into a character so dissimilar to her own whilst still maintaining a sense of personality that makes the character human and relatable, even when their circumstances are different to hers
