Hannah Young-Winters

Hannah has featured in several historical docudramas for the BBC, working with historians such as Neil Oliver and Lucy Worsley.

Drawn to deep emotional work, Hannah is passionate about projects that explore mental health – while fully embracing the immersive, time-travelling joy of period drama. Influenced by the work of Konstantin Stanislavski, she aims to bring an authenticity and psychological realism to her performances. Hannah enjoys working collaboratively with productions teams.

Alongside her acting career, Dr Hannah Young works as a chartered psychologist and psychotherapist, specialising in the treatment of trauma.

Born and educated in Dundee, Scotland, where she is still based, she enjoys spending time outdoors: kayaking, cycling and walking.
