Actors biography:

Leyla Chykulina is an international Swiss actress based in Zurich, with roots in Kenya, India, and Russia, giving her a uniquely ambiguous look. She speaks native English and is fluent in German and Russian.

She trained in youth theatre programs at the Schauspielhaus Zürich under Manuela Runge and has since appeared in over twenty film and commercial productions, including a leading role in the national Galaxus Christmas campaign. She is currently starring in a lead role in an independent feature film, portraying a bubbly and charming young woman.

In addition to her acting work, Leyla develops character-driven narrative projects and recently directed and starred as a rebellious teenager in her short film MAGIC TRICK, which is heading to festivals.

She continues her artistic education through advanced acting training, including ongoing work with the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and the Business Academy for Actors at the Hollywood Winner Circle.

Leyla is represented internationally and is excited to pursue global opportunities in film, television, and theatre.
