Actors biography:

At the end of the 70’s, Linda studied in Glasgow, at what was The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, now The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She then married at a ridiculously young age, retrained as a nurse and followed a completely different career path in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Over the last 8 years, she’s returned to acting, finding more satisfaction in performance as an older woman.

Linda’s most recent theatre roles have been in comedy,  as Ethel in “Diet!”, and drama, as Elsie in “When the Sky Runs Out of Rain” and in 2026 Linda will portray Lillias Adie, in “The Seven Witches of Torryburn”, the story of real women who were accused of witchcraft in Scotland.

Linda played the Judge sentencing the children’s father to prison in the BBC’s “The Primrose Railway Children”. She also appeared in Disney’s “Wedding Season”and the feature film “The Last Bus”.

She can be seen in commercials such as Golden Charter’s “Planned By You”, ScotGov’s “Mind to Mind” mental health support campaign and her voice can be heard in NHS Scotland’s “Turn to SARCS” campaign for Sexual Assault Self Referral Service.

A doting (dotty) granny, Linda lives near Glasgow with her idiot ragdoll cat, and enjoys bases across the UK with friends and family.
