Actors biography:

Michael J Garden is an Edinburgh based actor who was born and raised on the outskirts of the good ol’ Aberdream of Aberdeen. Michael has just recently completed his time at Edinburgh Napier University with First class honours on the BA (Hons) Stage & Screen acting course.

As a concession between teacher and talkative student, Michael got put forward for drama studies at Mitchell’s School Drama in Inverurie. He has been pursuing and learning acting for over nine years culminating with a distinction on a PCERTlam certificate via LAMDA’s eternal exams in 2021.

His Theatre credits include Michal in ‘The Pillowman’ with Aberdeen Repertory Theatre and ‘Love and Information’ at Edinburgh Napier University. Presently, he’s made his Fringe debut as part of ‘The Optimiserables’ and their first production ‘You Have Failed Me For The Last Time!’ in both Edinburgh and Dundee.

Michael on his off time enjoys major workouts in the gym to the tunes of metal & Orchestra combined. He is also very much a Lego and SCI-FI enthusiast (particularly Doctor Who & Star Wars) often trying to envision the biggest and most intricate scenarios without stepping on any bricks in the process.
