Actors biography:

Peter Morrison is a Northern Irish actor based in Edinburgh. He graduated with an MFA in Acting for Stage and Screen from Edinburgh Napier University in 2024, and previously studied English Literature and History at The University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2019.

Peter has built up a large portfolio of work in Edinburgh across stage and screen and continues to push himself in a variety of new and challenging roles. He has been a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and been part of a wide range of productions in Edinburgh and elsewhere in the UK. His knack for impressions and accents has served him well across the wide range of roles he has played.

He is passionate about bringing thought provoking, unheard stories to life on stage and screen and enjoys the challenge of playing complex characters. Peter approaches every role with a focus, curiosity, and imagination that delivers nuanced, enriched performances.

As well as acting, Peter has directed and produced a production of The Weir by Conor McPherson, is a keen writer of plays and poetry and has played saxophone since his school days. He is at home in the rehearsal room and loves collaborating with other performers to create new, exciting and thought provoking work.

He has worked in Theatre in Education, and loved giving children the opportunity to explore their own creativity and build the confidence, communication and coordination skills that acting and performance brings.

When not acting, directing or writing, Peter can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen or soundtracking his life to Chris Stapleton, Foy Vance or Jack Savoretti.
